I Stand Corrected!

Today I had to do one of the things I find so unpleasant. I had to switch out my snow tires to my regular tires. I'm sure that is not the proper language, but it will work. I have had not such great luck with tires. Just ask the Brazeltons and my Mom. Today was a much different experience for me in the tire store. I sat in the waiting area on a couch and this extremely nice lady sat by me and her down syndrome son pushed me over so he could sit on the other side of me. He kept gently patting my hand. His mom and I had struck up a conversation about marathon running. I said "I can't seem to run fast." A minute had passed and all of a sudden her son said, "excuse me, I will not accept that type of language." In complete fear I offended him he continued, "as a member of the National Special Olympics Board the word is I can and never I can't. He said, "you can run fast." Change your attitude!! I felt very inspired and now as I prepare to go running I'm going to put this into action!! You can!!!
